Monday
- On Monday we woke up bright and early and we drove from Eugene, Oregon ALL the way to Canada. It worked out great because Emily had a travel playlist for us to listen on the trip, and we had lots to talk about so the drive wasn't that bad. I mean it was only a 700 mile drive.
- We spent the day in Vancouver, just walking around looking at shops and experiencing the culture.
- We drove to Stanley Park, which is HUGE by the way. I guess if you are coming from a small town, you would think that park was huge. We started just by driving through the entire park, which is a long drive. It was an awesome place, it almost seemed like another town. It had an aquarium, bikes to rent to ride, a lighthouse, horse carriage rides, and so much more.
- When we finished driving around, we went into the aquarium and they had the cutest seals! I thought that they were so funny. They had some shows with the animals and it was fun to watch.
- We went to Edible Canada and market in Granville Island for lunch. Looking around the market had so many different foods, and things to buy. We looked at as many of the stands as we possibly could, but the place was huge!
- For dinner we ate at in Granville Island and had poutine. The most tasteful, delicious, probably worse thing you could eat, poutine. It was so awesome we got poutine multiple times on the trip. It is french fries with gravy, cheese curds, and deliciousness.

Wednesday
- A MUST DO! Even if you are a scaredy-cat like me, is going to the Capilano Suspension Bridge!! The bridge was such a great experience and we got lots of creative photos. At first, it is very intimidating, I mean you are walking around WAY HIGH up. It had beautiful views and the photos themselves were great souvenirs.
- For lunch we ate at the restaurant at the suspension bridge, and I got a burger and fries. It was a delicious burger, but I don't know if that was just because of the adrenaline from the bridges.
- Gastown Ghostly Tour. One of the spoopy exciting adventures we went on this trip. I absolutely loved the tour, and our tour guide was hilarious. I am normally, like I said above, a scaredy-cat, but this tour was totally worth it. Emily and I had to layer our clothes because it was so cold. We followed our tour guide around Gastown and stopped at many different locations in the town where our guide told us history of the town, and ghost stories that went along with the locations.
- For dinner, we went to Steam Works in Gastown, where we got pizza with MAPLE SYRUP. Yes, you read that right. And it was soooooo good! I wouldn't think that it would work together, but oh it did. We also got mojitos with coconut flavoring in them, and it made the pizza even better!
Thursday
- For breakfast, I got chocolate banana bread and hot chocolate and it was perfect!
- We went to the Stanley Park beach, just to relax and take some photos. We rode bikes around the park, and it saw lots of Canada. It was nice to see the beach and the lighthouse. Stanley Park also had totem poles, and I was surprised to see them, but they were very pretty!
- After the park, we went to an art museum where we saw all sorts of artwork.
- For lunch I had beef stroganoff at a very fancy restaurant, and we felt very under dressed. We didn't realize how fancy it was until we were inside.
- We went to Fly Over Canada, and it was so much fun! I would highly recommend it. It was a great experience to feel like we really saw all of Canada.
- For dinner, we dressed up and ate at the Grub. It is a small restaurant, but it is super cute inside. It was very busy at the restaurant, it seemed very popular. I got the pork gnocchi and it was so delicious!
