Copper and Todd

My sister and I were looking up online dogs that were for sale. We found a new pack of Mini Australian Shepherds that were for sale near Salem, Oregon that were born October 15th, 2010. We told our parents, and we got our dogs in December! Kelsey and I were so excited to get our first ever puppies! We took forever to plan their names. We knew that they were going to be brother and sister, and that we wanted to name them after something Disney. We came up with a list of different names, but when we got the dogs we decided that Todd and Copper from Fox and the Hound fit them best.

Copper and Todd

Copper

Some facts about Copper:

  • She is very relaxed dog, but also stressed at the same time. She is more laid back then Todd, but she will get very stressed if something is happening to any of us.
  • She does NOT like her paws being touched. That is a big NO NO.
  • She really enjoys when little kids are at the house, because they are fun to chase and try to herd.
  • She really enjoys her lonely time. Her favorite thing is to find any ray of sunlight and she will lay in it for hours.
  • She puts up with me putting crazy things on her and taking pictures (mainly because I'm holding a cookie the entire time, and she just wants her treat.)
  • She loves laying on mom's bed when everyone is in the bathroom getting ready.
  • She loves grandma Terry, she is her favorite person.

Todd

Some facts about Todd:

  • He LOVES ice. Just loves it, it is his favorite thing to eat.
  • He really enjoys herding people, and it started at a young age. I ran down the hallway when he was a puppy, and he got up and started crying and followed me down the hallway. At first we thought he was hurt, but found out that he really was frustrated because he couldn't catch up to us to herd us. Ever since that day, he always gets all excited to chase someone down the hallway.
  • He really enjoys when little kids are at the house, because they are fun to chase and try to herd.
  • He wants to be touched ALL THE TIME. And he makes sure you know this, for example, he will hit you with his paw and won't stop until you pet him again.
  • He puts up with me putting crazy things on him and taking pictures (mainly because I'm holding a cookie the entire time, and he just wants his treat.)
  • He lays on mom's bed when everyone is in the bathroom getting ready, only because he doesn't want to be alone.
